Chaskaas
About This Spot
Walking into Chaskaas on Bethnal Green Road, you’re welcomed by an inviting warmth that feels both familiar and gently vibrant. This cozy yet lively Pakistani restaurant carries a relaxed, neighborhood charm—where the hum of conversations blends seamlessly with the occasional clatter from the open kitchen. The space is thoughtfully arranged, making it an ideal refuge whether you’re sharing a meal with close friends, family, or colleagues after a busy day.
The pace here is unhurried, encouraging you to savor more than just the food. It’s a place where the flavors arrive thoughtfully, inviting discovery with each bite. The menu carries the comforting weight of long-held recipes, with dishes that bring to life the diverse textures and spices of Pakistan’s culinary landscape. From tender grilled kebabs and the rich, hearty depths of a chicken tikka masala to the warmth of freshly baked parathas and the fresh crispness of street-style samosas, each plate feels like a shared memory waiting to unfold.
Beyond the food itself, what lingers is the sense of connection—between the welcoming team who treat you like part of a family, and the genuine enjoyment that permeates the room. The atmosphere feels just right for conversations that stretch across course after course, with the occasional burst of laughter lighting up the space. Whether it’s the steady clinking of glasses filled with mango lassi or the satisfying crunch of a perfectly fried pakora, these small human details shape the experience as much as the flavors.
Chaskaas is a reminder of why local dining is about more than just the meal. It’s a place where the city’s diverse rhythms meet a calm, heartfelt hospitality—where each visit invites you to slow down, connect, and savor the joyful moments that arise naturally from warmth, good food, and time well spent together.

Hands down one of the best restaurants I've been to. Succulent chicken, delicious kebabs and the biriyani is too good! My whole family love this place (and you know how picky desi parents are). Lovely owners as well masha Allah tabarakAllah! Not to mention AMAZING prices! Went with my work colleagues and they all enjoyed the delicious food!

Tried this place 1st time and can’t praise this place enough. The decor and ambience was very nice and elegant. Went in for street food snacks (Samosa chaat, lamb kebab roll and mango lassi). Must say the food was delicious and authentic taste. Finished every last bit (Check the last photo for evidence lol) The price was very reasonable and definitely worth the price. We will be back again soon! Thanks again

A truly homely Pakistani restaurant with food lovingly cooked by their mum. Every dish tastes like proper home cooking — full of flavour, comforting, and made with care. You can really feel the warmth and authenticity in the food. The atmosphere is welcoming, and the brothers at the front are friendly and polite, making you feel at home from the moment you arrive. It’s a genuine family-run place with heart, and it shows in both the food and the service. Highly recommended for authentic, home-style Pakistani food. Coming back soon!

We ordered for takeaway Mixed grill, Lamb Biriyani, Chicken Biriyanis, Chapli kebabs (amazing!), Aloo tikkis, Pakoras, Samosa chaat, Daals and Chicken curry. The food was superb, though the chicken curry was less of a fave. The rest of the food were absolutely amazing! The brother was so honest, and even tried to discourage me from over-ordering, who is this honest these days? Everything tasted like something from a mother’s hand, with love. We were so impressed and no doubt will order from here again. The highlight, however was the customer service. The brother helped my husband carry everything to the car, and we are so appreciative the level of care and kindness he offered. No doubt, we would recommend here. Just pure, honest and ethical business. May Allah swt bless you all and your business with abundant barakah, Ameen
